Right.......

After locking myself away for easter to produce something new, Ive finally come up with something half decent ...lol... I had originally set out to write a dance number, but that was going nowhere... so this is the track I ended up writing.

Its not yet finished, I'd say about 80% (strings too loud, tricks & twiddly bits still to do)..... but this will be the only time I will render a pre-final demo for this as it took 1hour and 8 min to save it off.  I really should use a dedicated HD for the grand.

Anyway, it's one for all those who loved "Thanks for the Memory"..... uber-chilled

Yeah, the intro is kinda dark... ive yet to figure out a way to link it to the pre-bass section. I was thinking of using a portamento slide on a pad chord to take it from C down (or up) to A. Also ive gotta link the other sections together slightly better so the changes arent as abrupt, so it may end up 20/30sec longer if I have to allow time for transitions. 

I thought it may be a good idea too to double up on the piano melody to give it more definition  (but that would involve a 2nd the grand, and that thing EATS memory)..... I could sit here and pick holes in it all evening, but then again... I suppose we all do that to our own work.... "I'll fix it in the mix" as they say

Ok guys... ive spent the whole day getting this finished and out of the way before the weekend. Ive fixed the problem of getting from a-b in terms of linking the intro to the rest of the track. Had a general tidy up and dropped in a few extra fx. Soundin' shweet now  - i think the mix is pretty much spot-on.
