Greetings!
I'm new here, and new to the whole Home Recording thing, but I want to get something going with it, so I'm looking for some help.

I've been singing off and on with small groups, at small functions for about 10 years, but I've never actually recorded anything. All our gigs have been live at parties ect. Myself and the guys are all around 47 and we're prbably best described as a part time garage band.

I want to try some vocals on new, original material so I'm asking your help. If you have a song you need some vocals on or have a song you wouldn't mind me doing a rendition of please let me know. If you could give me an idea on how you want the vocals to go in the song, I'd love to give singing them a try.

I don't have any music samples up yet, but I hope to have something up soon. Below is the kind of songs I've done in our little band just to give you an idea of what genre's I'm comfortable in.

Most any blues tune
Jimmy Buffett
Jack Johnson
Hank Williams
Merle Haggard
Toby Keith
Brooks and Dunn
John Mellencamp
ZZ top
Skynard

These are just some off the top of my head, but I would be willing to try most any genre.
Oh, right now, I'm using Audacity to record on the computer, but I can import or export in MP3 or WAV format I believe.

My appologies,

In my excitement to locate some songs, I posted the info on different sites and didn't do a very good job of editing for each one. Again, sorry about the oversight.

I'll try and have some samples up as soon as possible, but I really don't have any original material and I know the topic of posting cover songs is a sticky one on most sites.

I'll see what I can come up with.
