About the Articles Forum

The Articles section is a new addition to the forum which we hope will become a library of useful articles and tutorials for the MP3unsigned community. If you are passionate about something that you think might be of interest to the site users or a niche group of users within the community then please feel free to submit an article in the Articles Forum. All submissions will be put in a moderation queue meaning that they will not appear straight away but sometime within 12hrs at the very latest. This is to ensure that no spammers get into the system and that new submissions get posted to the correct category.

Some basic guidelines for submission:

- Please use spell-check before submitting
- Try to specify what category you think the article would be relevant to, this will help Admin to organise things in the early stages
- There is no rule for how long an article or tutorial should be but if you have something that is very long then consider breaking it down into a series of articles.
- All articles will include the artists signature file so if haven't done so already, don't forget to set up your signature file in your User CP
- If the content is relevant to a social group you are a member of on this site, please include a link at the bottom of the article
- Please keep article content relevant to the site. If you want to write about politics, religion, economics or breastfeeding then please keep it to the public forums or your Artists Blog (soon to be added).
- Video tutorials are also welcome!
- Don't post anything with links or instructions to illegal activities, downloads, warez and porn - it won't get published!

Music lessons (synth, guitar, keyboard etc etc)
Composition - how to write a song
Production
DAW - tips & tutorials on FL Studio, Cubase, ProTools, Audacity, Ableton etc etc
Music business - from gigging to dealing with labels etc
Live - tips and articles on live performance etc
DJ
Home producer - setup etc
At the studio - getting the most out of recording time
Getting noticed
Etc etc etc........
Basically anything related to music and being a musician!

If you don't see an area for your article or tutorial, please post it in Uncategorised Articles and we will set up a new category.
