DJ Stash started bringing the raw in 1992 with his first band Troubled Youth in which he played bass guitar and sang..From that he went on to form 1/2 Breed,a two man Industrial Metal group with Scott Mathewson that mixed NIN with Rage Against The Machine...They recorded the song "Smoke's In My Eyes..."In 1996 Stash hooked up with Jason Love(J Phlex) and stated recording a wide range of styles under the Dizmal Records name which later became Powerplay Entertainment.........In 2001,DJ Stash went off on his own to further develop Powerplay..He recruited his first rapper Markus Hooks.Stash dropped a hot chopped classical beat and Hooks flowed and the result was"The Persian Flaw,"which is still one of the most famous underground tracks in our area and also one of the most bootlegged.Stash released "King Of Groove City" in 2002 which was the best moving unit to date for Powerplay with 12.000 in circulation all from the trunk..Other classics would follow like "Welcome to Groove City","Game Over Pt 1&2", and most recently the new albums from Stash"Shattered Dreams" and from one of his newest artists Big Spitta with "Strictly Street".These boys are on top of thangs.........
