Abeey Williams  News Thirteen Featured on Greybrow Very First Podcast :D (Monday, February 12, 2007) Anyone who's ever listened to my tracks before know i wrote a song a long time ago, to an old friend of mine who sadly died of a cancerous brain tumour before she got the chance to hit her teens. It took me a few years to get around to singing it as everytime i tried i could never finish. Last summer i recorded the song as a draft version and put it up on a website called Mp3unsigned.com this accepela version caught alot of attention for me as a songwriter as i was very young when i wrote the song. The draft vocals were put to music by three producers called Youth, D-lux and Chris Maxwell. They each made different versions. Youth an urban producer and vocalist captured his with his own experience of similar issues singing along side the drafted voice putting it to some urban blues the version was called "Those Days". D-lux, the multitalented producer and rapper, took a simplistic approach making an atmospheric enviroment so the words would shine through calling it as the origanal draft was called "Rebecca". But it was Chris Maxwells version that collected the most attention rewritten and put to pop music it became a favourite on the site and plucked many peoples heartstrings. This version was called "Thirteen" .
