Hurting Me
not something I would normally listen to if I'm honest...but the performance and recording is on the money...a couple of singer songwriters on here who's work I've enjoyed...so will add this to the very small list too :) the breakdown @ 3 mins was really unexpected :) class bit of song writing dude...and thanks for the comments over on my page :) peace,Ricky
Quality song and thats great the way you expolde into double time, I wasnt expecting that.
Great Song!
Thanks for lyric....which is gr8...love the use of the expression "that's the currency you deal in" which is exactly the same for vampirism and cannibalism...they all have their own currencies....this woman is pretty evil let's face it!!
Back for another listen y'old bunt
I always love a "blues based" rock song. Have your heart broken lately my friend? DAM! The production on this is awesome. I love the way you speak with that guitar! Just an all around top shelf song you've got here. Tums UP Eric
Another quality song Tony 4sure. Love all the guitar parts - you have an awesome ear . Never a dull moment in this one!
Wow - Tony, big step up with the guitar sounds here. Everything just sounds a lot BIGGER, drums included! Liking this track too, nice blend of many styles. Vocal delivery here could be your best to date - as is possibly the entire track. This is one to be proud of - don't get your coat just yet! Eyes open for a TM cd too, at this stage you;ve got enough material for a box set :-) Like the lead runs in this track too, a little more high tempo than your more bluesy stuff, your also getting some cracking feedback on that lead tone. Can't tell if that's digitally enhanced, amp generated or a combination of technique and fx - either way it sounds awesome. Well done, rated!
What a Start :) Great voice on this , wonderful work Tony , you amaze me with the stuff you put up, all class stuff, i can see a Tony Miller Album Very SOON... Lol ... Anyways back to this Track.... love the guitar work which goes with out saying ,Vocals superb , the backing goes well too , nice Drums in there too, im no expert on production ect. but everything sounds fine to me, nice rough Organ in the background .... Nice Ending too Tony....... Looking out for the Album soon is it .... ;) Degs
Hi Tony....cool drums... and the dirty guitar riff is great...also like the tight little solo melodies... A slight change of voice for you...plenty of passion and the husky old school style rock vocal is very cool...adds to the feel of the overall sound... Productions is class as always... controlled and well balanced.. Lyrics are cool tony, nice use of lyrics... For me the song structure is not a normal song structure, i dont mind that...who says there is a norm?..why should there be a norm?... Break is sweet... nice direction and polish... Enjoyed this tony...well presented, well written and well sung... Thank you for sharing !!
lyrics up hon...
Someone wiped your lyrics off the board!!! Nice bit of rock darlin!!
Gets my vote T man. You have that classic feel to so many of your songs that I totally love. Thanks for that Tony.....
Hey, nice song Tony! Cool vocal arrangement, sweet guitar and some decent keys to boot, that a Hammond I hear in the background? Enjoyed my listen, thumbs up, head down!
Like this Tony, million miles better than Robert Plant's latest.Cool vocals and guitars tones ...Yeah clever track and a thumb raised...eyes watering!!!!
A SAFE THUMB ON THIS 1.
cheers bro, careful where you stick that thumb, you'll have someone's eye out...
Excellent drums dude and a big, fat clean sound. I could even make out most of the tyric without much problem. Thought the outro might have me a tad bored but ya mixed it up and stuck another round of vox in just when I thought it was about to fade. Well done tony this is a fine piece of work and it severely grieves me to have to press the thumzup lol.
Writer of songs about the human condition, in all its manifestations.
Tony is a well known live performer mainly in the Manchester (England) area. Over the years this experience has honed his performance skills and song writing abilities. His love of many forms of music is reflected in the wide range of genres he covers in his songs.
Tony is currently unsigned and has never had any of his songs published, although some of his earlier work appeared on local radio.
He remains forever hopeful...
Great feel, very early black keys. Very intriguing structure.
'Faithless' is ,at it's heart a rather bitter, nihilistic message, securely aligning itself firmly within the 'nowt out there but thin air, and whatever perceptions yer wanna take from that' camp. The conclusion (more a dejected sigh than an outro) is as pitiless it is short, speaking of wasted lives, futile clinging to the same 'faceless gods', and then death... without even a decent rewar
Come on everyone do I really need to convince you that this song is GREAT! Have a listen. Tony Miller, he is persistant. One great song one after the other. Why? someone please tell me why we are not getting this mainstream? My ears never lie and my heart is always true so with my tongue I say this to you I rated everything 10 and I'll do it again.
