Got all the elements to a metal song! Loud and raunchy but with a really nice breakdown at 1:35ish. Very crunchy guit sound tony! Nice! Sure has an '80's flavor. Enjoyed this! Rich
Missed the original but am here now. Your voice is soooo Chris Rea and I mean that as compliment my friend. Tight professional sound which is very energetic with some superb guitar work. ABP. Take Care Andy :)
Much better and more cohesive sound wise too. This is more what I was looking to hear dude. Nice one.
Yep the drums and guitar are very convincing - It is like I could smell the drummer sweating! Impressive. Top Rocker.
Tony, hello. Nice start... THose rifs are greay, real great..And you have nailed the drums!!.. At first i thought the drums were gona be to hollow but when the real drum track kicks in, that works for me... Vocal style works to...Cuz you put soul into it.. Not keen on the bridge...but thats nothing to worry about... Cool wild solo...Direction,structure.... got you written all over it... Vox in that 2nd verse, quality mate!!.... Cheers for sharing!!
Vibe is wicked and you pulled it off with ease. Not an easy thing thing to do. Impressive.
Nice one Tony...it's a heavy track but it has your distinctive slant.Nasty vocals you scary man ;) Another dark track which I always prefer.
Tony even a touch of Janes Addiction within this track.Nice compression on the bassline.nice mix of synths in the background and guitar riffs.Cool refreshing track fella.
Wayyyyyyy better now Tony, much more meat on that kick drum and the bass is really driving the low end. Vocals mix works a treat now and the backing is much much better. Thumbs up sir!
What the heck did I say upon my first comment Tony? LoL~ Something in the way of ~ I think you found your nitch perhaps. Really like this vibe from you, great vocal mista! :)
Nice song, I really liked the growling vocals, it was a nice touch man.
Just goes to show... I liked the bitch vocal and because it aint really metal the femme vox was cool. Hey everyone's different. If ya really want to improve this track ya need to (still) sort out the drum track dude. It doesn't cut the mustard for either rock or metal. Reckon you need to make it more compressed too. Sorry for being neg about the production, hope it's not too-backhanded for ya (hee hee). I do like the song hence the thumzup on the first take.
Sounds much better now Tony. Gonna grab a D/L this time. Craig
Copied Carol Sue's comments here as the track seems ok now: Heard a lot of great music from you throughout the years, but ahh, me thinks Tony has found his nitch! Vocals are ace! Wickedly cool... or should I say HoT ~Kudos!!~ :)
Copied Liquids comments here, as the track seems ok now: What stood out for me was the clarity of the guitar despite the obvious induced distortion. Opening percs a little up front for me but was agree to disagree on that one I know. Vocal as always is cool. A much enjoyed break from my mornings listening to pretty piano melodies.
Enjoyed track, guitars, lead vocal, bass all sound great to me (vocal sounds a bit like Lemmy so that was cool ) Feels more like rock to me as well, why do we have to label everything lol. Personally would make the backing vocal 'burning, burning' bits a bit more Queen-like and epic sounding and maybe go a bit more rock in the drum dept (but thats a personal thing as I hate metal drums with a passion lol) Back to the criteria for listening to tracks though, the song is great and all the rest is just window dressing so well done, least you are trying to stretch yourself :) I pressed every button lol
I'm torn by this one Tony. I love the guitar and your vocal but the female vocal and the drums sound pish. This needs the sort of drum track that Tommy (Dead America) comes up with to really bring out the power the track could have and don't want to cause offence but I think you should drop the female vox from this altogether. Still gonna rate though 'cos these two issues aside it's a decent track. Craig
Strange track man. It has all the components of a proper heavy rock track but comes across weird. The guitar line is sweet and the sections roll nicely (the opener sounds Dire Straits-ish. Seriously!) but the sounds of the instruments don't match up for me. The drums sound thin and the bass is too fat and plodding. I would also get the guitars more to the fore. Then again, my own stuff is the most primitive production wise, so feel free to disregard my comments.
Ya gonna have to get some decent speakers dude cos that snare's not on the money... wow nice guitar sound dude. Nah not metal but yes rock. Interesting structure too and v pleasant backing bitch vox!! BTW is she a friend or summat else? Spandex eh? Is that what you were wearing today... more than wot i woz muhuhaha. Dig the growling at the end. Thumbs up. I'd have mixed your vox a tad brighter too.
Nice one Tony, love that drop tuned opening riff:) Only thing I would change on the production would be the treatment of the backing vocals - maybe give them some delay and reverb and pull them back slightly, dirty them up a tad (maybe add some male accompaniment?). Just my preference mind you. The slow down was really good, lyrics suit nicely. Cracking little solo around the 3.30 mark. Sounds good to me, 'near metal' sums it up very well - some tweaking to the backing vox would go full metal - I can just imagine you with a stick on wig and spandex pants, rocking out with one foot up on the speaker !
Didn't think your voice could go with even and "almost metal" song Tony but once again, you surprised me. You've done the genre a great service by making this one.....love the the meeeeaaaan sound you put in there and the geetar licks are perfect.......Love the change up around 1:50....classy...this is a real good un Dan

He remains forever hopeful...
Great feel, very early black keys. Very intriguing structure.
'Faithless' is ,at it's heart a rather bitter, nihilistic message, securely aligning itself firmly within the 'nowt out there but thin air, and whatever perceptions yer wanna take from that' camp. The conclusion (more a dejected sigh than an outro) is as pitiless it is short, speaking of wasted lives, futile clinging to the same 'faceless gods', and then death... without even a decent rewar
Come on everyone do I really need to convince you that this song is GREAT! Have a listen. Tony Miller, he is persistant. One great song one after the other. Why? someone please tell me why we are not getting this mainstream? My ears never lie and my heart is always true so with my tongue I say this to you I rated everything 10 and I'll do it again.
