Firewater Blues - stiffjesus/miller
As for this track, d/l'd this a long while back and thought I'd commented but obviously not. This is excellent in every respect. Drums are fine on this, and I love that organ sound and the bluesy guitar licks. Rated. Craig
That last comment was intended for Armageddon Soldier btw, damn this new contiunous play system lol.
Great songwriting and vocal delivery Tony, as we all expect by now. The lead guitar is brilliant, love it when you get that Knopfler tone, it's what you do best imo. I'm with Andy on the drums though, I hate them. I know you have gone for a different approach to straddle genres there but for me they mar what would otherwise be a brilliant track. Still, everything else is top drawer and warrants a rate all the same. Craig
dang, this is a really nice one. production is crystal as always. lyrics/vocal/guitar work superb. wow! :D
Nice lyrics Stiff and great delivery Tony - love the guitar work. This track is a real corker - excellent blues piece. Production as always is very professional. Sounds like a chart topper guys, great collab.
That should read 'worthy' whole!
A superior piece in all respects here - two talented individuals coming together here to create a very whole.
Ah. That'll be posted twice then. :D
Now then. I feel rather proud to be associated with this. Rather bloody proud. It's a song that holds lots of good memories for me along the way and I was a bit nervous about hearing Tony's interpretation but ended up grinning like an idiot for hours afterwards. I never ever thought or imagined my humble wee tune with it's almost (at the time) throwaway nature, could ever sound this kosher. This musically adept. This emotional. I was moved. I am still moved. I will continue to be moved. Marvelous :]
This is quality Tony and your vocals are superb! You remind me of Chris Rea in your tone Tone !! lol Excellent track and worthy of ABP! Take Care Andy :)
Your voice sounds great on this...you go! ;) Lyrics are cool......great track guys can imagine hearing this on the radio...production is spot on...rated :)
Stiff certainly has a way with words.:) Excellent production all round as we've come to expect. Methinks it's time to fire up the old Absinthe fountain. Nice work guys. R8ed+
excellent lyric and excellent music...performance was up there with best blues singers...coulda been mister ....er himself in places.....all buttons for me fellas!! I loved it to death and back!!
Oh, yeah, Nice! Lyrics on the money; relate all too well, and performance had a bit of Leon Russell vibe with this arrangement, with a Claptonesque guitar solo for good measure. Enjoyed it, sirs, well done!
Nice work again Tony. to be honest the piano didnt catch me at the intro ,then your Vox Kicked in and the sweet guitar and bang Then I knew im in for a treat. All the Elements of your work shine through.. Love the piano ending nice touch... I got the Firewater Blues ....Love it :)
Love the husky tone of your vocals!! and real nice guitar!!!! R
Hey guys I really really love this tune. You're right about the lyrics raw but powerful beautifully delivered by you and the raspy Tony The Tiger Growl!!! Love it guys! EZ Rate for sure Eric B A D L O V E J U N K I E
Chalk up another one Tony this is another cracker of a track.
Terrific piece Tony. I agree the lyrics are mad good. Your guitar really shines here and breathes life in to an already wonderful song. Your take on the blues is genuine and really heart felt. Not an easy thing to pull off. One has to live it inside in order to convey it outside. -rl
Great friggin song you two. The lyrics are way too good and your performance, production and musical imagination are some of your best Tone man. Gets all the buttons pushed. Really BRILLIANT! Dan

Tony is currently unsigned and has never had any of his songs published, although some of his earlier work appeared on local radio.
He remains forever hopeful...
Great feel, very early black keys. Very intriguing structure.
'Faithless' is ,at it's heart a rather bitter, nihilistic message, securely aligning itself firmly within the 'nowt out there but thin air, and whatever perceptions yer wanna take from that' camp. The conclusion (more a dejected sigh than an outro) is as pitiless it is short, speaking of wasted lives, futile clinging to the same 'faceless gods', and then death... without even a decent rewar
Come on everyone do I really need to convince you that this song is GREAT! Have a listen. Tony Miller, he is persistant. One great song one after the other. Why? someone please tell me why we are not getting this mainstream? My ears never lie and my heart is always true so with my tongue I say this to you I rated everything 10 and I'll do it again.
