The Pop-Rock music duo LoOn AtTic was formed in Málaga (Spain) in September 1998 as an acoustic duo, made up of David Soto (guitar) and Juan Sánchez (vocals and harmonica) and after only two months of continuous rehearsals covering songs of their favourite singers they launched straight into giving their first gig in one of their city's pubs. After seeing the audience's approval they began to gain a following right from that very first gig and began their musical career, doing gigs at every possible pub in their city and participating in all the competitions open to them.
It was at a competition (Concurso Cruzcampo 2000) where after being pronounced the winners they were able to share the stage at the “FESTIVAL DEL SOL (PRIMAVERA 2000)” with well known Spanish groups such as "MELÓN DIESEL". In the same competition they also won the chance to record a demo in a recording studio.
After sharing their musical career with various musicians, who came and went, they reckon with the valuable collaboration of musicians such as Paco Garóz (drummer from "LOS DUCATI") in the first studio recording.
Their singer, Juan, has participated several times in the gigs of the Malaga's band "HERMANAS SISTER" of whom he prides himself on being an unconditional fan.
After 5 years in their musical career, where they gave more than 100 gigs in and out their city, they decided to fly to London at the end of 2003 to see how was the music environment there, they didn’t gave any gig during that time as they decided to adapt into Spanish and record their album.
LoOn AtTic's Spanish album has already been recorded in a studio in London, next to Abbey Road (very popular place to The Beatles fans) and it's being showed in some Spanish record companies. Just a matter of time and luck!
Next thing after this English experience is flying to Madrid (Spain) on 2006 to take a chance there with their new Spanish record.
