IMPAQ was born in Brooklyn, NYC into a rather unsavory situation. With his parents diseased with addiction to drugs, he moved to Borinquen Plaza Projects in Williamsburg, Brooklyn to live with his grandparents. Holding hope alive when everyone else had given in on them, in 1990 he returned to his parents and they moved to Philadelphia after his parents completed a drug rehabilitation program.

Now a married young man and developing a life of his own for he and his wife, IMPAQ continues on his search for truth and balance. They recently have moved to Richmond, VA. Forever the optimist, IMPAQ, understanding that life is what you make of it, plans on making the most of his while spreading his emotional message to the world. Not one to be religious, but most certainly spiritual, his music is influenced by world religions, personal experiences and abstract ideas forming quite an interesting picture.

IMPAQ grew up around music his whole life and began rhyming over 9 years ago. Understanding that an art form is something that is constant learning, he remains humble and takes his music in stride. IMPAQ is an Account Manager with a prestigious insurance agency by day, but often found up late at night writing or recording new material. It's that same passion and drive that has helped him in his professional career, overcome personal adversity and progress musically.
