"'Glass Cage (Electronic Ambient)
Track Comments
100% Home Grown, this tune is entirely made From GLASS! bottles, glass bowls, wine glasses, Its all Glass. there are some really interesting sounds @ 1:40min so hang in there or skip ahead through the begining. the second half of this tune was based on a 12tone experiment, using the natural space between the pitches as the deviding segments. in other words.. as the sample got bigger in the lower ranges, it is spaced farther apart. This little experiment has a Modern Composition feel to it. so I named it after the first modern composers that I was exposed to. Philip Glass, and Jonathan Cage, You know the guy that went out onto a stage and opened up his piano, sat there playing nothing for specific periods of time, then closed the lid to the piano, got up and bowed!?!?!? a composition of NO SOUND but the audiance.
