"This song came to me at a time when I was having serious doubts about my musical abilities and my place in the scheme of musical things. I was scheduled to sing a solo one night and was worried about what people would think of my voice. It was a very personal conversation of the heart. In the first mix of this song, I was singing carefully into a computer headset mic, trying not to peak my VU meter. In this remix, I was able to sing full voice, add additional instrumentation and background vocals. The background is my own voice without the use of a harmonizer or the like. I don't need one, as harmonizing has come naturally for me from a very early age. I did, however, add quite a bit of chorus to each of the voicings to help give the illusion someone else was singing other than me! :-) Thanks again for letting me share my music with you."- Carolanne

Carolanne is from the Midwestern portion of the U.S. and has been a singer/songwriter since the age of 8. She plays several musical instruments, piano being her principle. Her musical influences span a variety of genres. Carolanne can be found serving in the Music Department of Grace Christian Center in Killeen, TX where she has been an active participant for over 5 years.
