"Delightfully chaotic. They possess all the sounds to drive a person mad yet allow them to escape into a world of fantasy." -Shade Haize, The Beer Pit "Like the female Trent Reznor taking the mien of Switchblade Symphony and bringing it to a more seductive and bloody realization" -Marianne Moro, Rock Confidential "The result of a love child by Marilyn Manson and Gwen Stefani." - Stephanie Watkins, CREEM Mag "This band lures the listener into their world with only the slightest hope of escape. With any luck, this is a band we are sure to hear some excellent music from for a long time.Fans of female-fronted industrial rock are in for a treat. Hot on the heels of their debut EP, Starlit finally unleash a full-length album’s worth of rowdy sonic erotica. She Was a Spicy She-Wolf has all the prerequisites for a sinfully arousing industrial rock fest: chunky guitar riffs courtesy of Max, stomping percussion and slinky electronics provided by Kieron Menzies, and above all a fiery female vocalist in the form of Simara Rose. However, those of you expecting rehashes of bands like Drill, Nocturne, or The Genitorturers are in for a surprise. Simara may be one seductive singer, with her photos adorning the album looking like something out of a satanic vaudeville, but this would underplay the sheer power of her musicianship and songwriting. She may have some help from the boys, but Starlit is unashamedly her creation. And what an evil little creation it is!She Was a Spicy She-Wolf is not for the faint of heart or the pure of mind; this is an album purely for people who like their music loud and sexy. The production is top-notch, with the percussion and electronics providing just the right amount of texture, while the guitars are prominent but not oppressive. Above all, Simara’s impressive vocal range shines, going from delightfully melodic to menacing effortlessly. The music overall stands alone as some impressive guitar-driven industrial that would put the band in the same ranks as KMFDM. She Was a Spicy She-Wolf proves that Starlit are one hell of a band, the kind you wouldn’t want your mother catching you listening to." -Re:Gen Magazine "The result of a love child by Marilyn Manson and Gwen Stefani." - Stephanie Watkins, CREEM Mag KMFDM HAS RE-MIXED MUTHER NOT YET ON SALE THOUGH..STARLIT CD IS ON SALE NOW THROUGH PAY PAL OR WWW.MYSPACE.COM
