The laughing gnome ;-) now that brings back a few memories.. ah well.. I like this song , lyrics and vocs are great and work well with the music ..video is good as well, and the message is spot on!
Welcome here my friend!!! Such an important song, Ron...you say what many have thought and I know that you've had hundreds of people throughout the world respond to the video you made for this one, justly so. (Bowie reference is because of your ....ney accent I guess lol)
I really like the vocal and the bass is cheesy in a good way and very hooky, great guitar solo as well :)
you know the vocals on this one remind me of bowie on 'laughing gno,e' (i hate to admit i know that track!) not that i would associate anything in this to that debatable song. Well constructed track, performed.
The CD of the song I co-wrote with Dawn Sinclair, "The Babes In The Wood" is now on sale at HMV in the Brighton, UK area. The song is dedicated to the memory of Nicola Fellows and Karen Hadaway, both aged nine, who were abducted and murdered in Brighton in 1986. All proceeds of the CD will go to childrens' charities. The song has been endorsed by world renowned, oscar winning songwriter, Paul Williams ("Evergreen", "We've Only Just Begun", "Rainy Days and Mondays", "Bugsy Malone"), who writes:- "Every act of kindness is a little bit of love we leave behind. I hope Ron and Dawn's song touches someone enough to jog a memory and provide the information that will end this mystery. The tragedy remains. We can only fight to keep our own children safe, and to lovingly remember Nicola and Karen once ran joyfully together.....just "Babes in the wood"."
