Rik Zeitgeist is a Essex, United Kingdom based electronica artist, he is also the mastermind behind acts such as - (Origin, Alias, Alias 5 and Karma Cronicle), writing all of the music and performing the majority of instruments on studio recordings. Zeitgeist has previously performed live with various bands, alternately taking the roles of vocals, guitar, keyboard, bass & drums. Rik Zeitgeist has done numerous collaborations. Some of his earliest productions were back in 2002, for the likes of – Everything but the Girl and The Nightcrawlers. Then in 2005, he form the successful trance duo Synthex with Roddick Pledger; Releasing eight singles and two albums to date. In 2006, Zeitgeist worked with Broadway star Kevin Cahoon (The wedding singer, chitty chitty bang bang, The Lion King and The Rocky Horror Show) on the single ‘Fasionista’ which was featured on Cahoons ‘Ghetto Cowboy’ album and received massive air play across America, becoming the 2007 theme song for the Baby Phat Fashion Show in NYC. Zeitgeist quickly became popular with his unique style of gritty synths and atmospheric textures, going on to work with - Nine Inch Nails, Holmes Ives, Conjure One and The Chemical Brothers to name a few. There have been a few recent collabs with the likes of Dale Corderoy, Darren Tate, Thomas Feijk, Celldweller and Kasper Koman, but only tracks with Corderoy and Feijk have been released thus far.
