Track structure

The track starts of at quite a high pace and really gets the adrenaline going from the start, it never looses its flow and the breaks although a lot slower then the main tune still seem to keep the song moving along nicely. The track breaks in the right places and kick back in nicely. I especially like the break at 2/3 where the glitchy type beat comes in, very cool.

Musical interest

Its very musically interesting – lots of things going on all the time to keep the listener interested and a decent police vocal sample to really keep things interesting.

Melody

Although the track doesn’t have a very distinct lead melody the beat and samples when combined with the Hoover sound is more than enough...

Musical Performance

Well Ricky clearly knows what he’s doing musically as he has shown us many times before – this track proves this yet again. Fast beats, deep hoover sounds and police radio samples, Ricky manages to blend everything perfectly, keep everything moving along well and create a tense atmosphere with the samples. (Could be useful in car chase games!)

Recording Quality

I am by no means the best person to ask about this but from what I hear I can see no problems – Everything sounds at the right level and all the separate sounds have room to ‘breathe’. Good work.

Enjoyment

After listening to this track 3 times before starting this review and about 10 times whilst writing the review I am still enjoying it. I love the fast pace of the song and the police samples! Really great stuff. I am by no means alone in thinking this song is really enjoyable – 28 comments, 15 downloads, 21 ratings and currently sitting at number 1 in the user charts and 3 in the Official charts says it all really – People enjoy this track, if you have not heard it yet, listen to it know you will like it!

Commercial Appeal

I do not like this rating – Has commercial appeal in its genre but not mainstream… but that’s what I would expect from Ricky! (except Jelly Baby… Still going round in my head!)
