This is my first review
people!! Let's hope I do this right!! Alright, off to reviewing!
Encryption Complex is a two man group. Encryption professes in classical
music and Complexxx professes in dance music. Combine these two together
and you got one hell of sound!! I feel that they have fused these two
styles of music rather nicely in 4 Seasons.
Let's start off with the positive stuff and work our way down from there.
First off, I'd like to say that I admire the effort of synth work put into here. The different synths help make it intriguing and will keep you wanting to hear more. I never got bored of this song and I'm even listening to this non-stop as I write this. I REALLY admire the drums put in here. It does and doesn't sound crazy because it's not like little kicks and hihats and snares bouncing in and out all over the place, but rather like slow (in the middle), yet cut up real fast at the same time. It's kind of hard to explain. The beats are not used repetitively which is a BIG plus from me. I love to hear variation in music and this definitely does change, which gives me to my next point.
I feel that it may variate a bit too much. I don't
know how to classify how I emote to it. I like and I don't like it.
I mean I like everything going on but I feel that at some parts it doesn't flow
right, like if it's a sudden turn. Some people like sudden turns and some
people don't. I'm in the middle. I can appreciate how things
dramatically change, but it dramatically changes [at some parts]
constantly. I would like to hear a more fluent transition between
parts. For example, when you put in the classical break, there isn't a
fluent transition. I feel that it detracts a bit of what you are trying
to express. I'm not sure if I'm saying it right. In other words, I
believe that it may lose grasp on what's going on.
However, I do appreciate this track a lot! I admire the effort you two
put into this and can't wait to hear more music from the both of you.
