This is a very pleasant song – Music Maker samples, I believe ? – which once the piano intro finishes ticks along at a great pace.  Lovely mellow music and smooth vocals, though I think the vocals are mixed just a smidge too far to the front. 

 

As the track progresses, everything is nicely panned and the production is sounding good. 

 

The main problem with this track for me starts at around 1.39, when there’s some quite pronounced overpeaking – at least on my speakers.  The synths sound as though they’ve been mixed too far to the front and from that point everything in the mix is struggling to be heard.  I’m having to turn down my speakers, particularly when the rawk guitar comes in. 

 

Then at 2.50 everything settles back down and I’m turning my speakers up a tad again.  The track ends fine apart from a nasty click right at the end – it may be an uploading thing ?

 

On the whole this has the potential to be a really nice track – but unfortunately, for me, it’s a little marred by the sound levels.  If they were sorted I’d probably keep this one.
