Let me first start off by Stating that I have know Tedd-Z since joining this site way way back in a time I was the new guy, and Tedd was amongst the first people I had interaction with., but let me add that my review will not be bias or show favoritism any way.

I like to think I give a fair and honest review and hope that nothing I say is taken too seriously, after all this is only one mans opinion.

So to the Artist. Once again there is a lack of information on the Tedd-Z's page I don't know if he is an original composer or a sampler mangler. I have to assume that he does everything from scratch, and base my review as such. Because of the time I have know Tedd and some of his history I will assume that this is purely a hobby (or passion) and he is no longer has any delusion of commercial success, excuse me if I am wrong.

I would like to also add that when I first came to the site I thought I would down load one of Tedd-Z's tracks and try to remix it. The relevance of that is, I couldn't. Way back then he danced to the beat of a different drummer and I couldn't get my head around the way he done things, and I must say it perplexed me for quite some time. But the guy was out there...way out there.

And so to the track. Once again I will say I do like tracks that start off with glimmers of interest and signs of things to come, The initial low sounds that come wafting through my head phones gain my interest immediately. If fact I am shocked at the superb quality and depth of sound makes me look twice to see that I am on the right page. There is real quality in all the sounds in this track so if he is a creator of all the different sounds then he must have invested in some serious gear.

Then this twisted array of syncopated noise comes in as a prelude to a quite hypnotic Drum and bass line, a wonderfully silky smooth bass line. All in all a great beginning.

Now the next thing is purely subjective, the vocal lines start up, now I know they are meant to be distorted and have that heavy sampled sound but why oh why are they clipping, not just a little but enough to make my poor sensitive Metal Head ears cringe. I don't know if its done by accident or been done for effect but I must say its putting me off..right off.

Back to the rest of the track, so whats good about it,well bloody everything, the rhythms are fantastic. I don't mean just the Drums and Bass but all the electronic percussive sounds that bounce around and pan from left to right are really good, in fact so good that I cant think off the top of my head of a better don track. I'm not just talking Unsigned here, I'm talking mainstream.

To say that I love this track would be wrong, but to say I respected this track would be an understatement. I can only think of one other artist that I know on this site who has been able to achieve what Tedd-Z has and that would be MD-1. No offense to anyone else out there but Ricky was interesting without trying to sound commercial and cliche, He was an artist who could keep me interested from start to finish, and considering this isn't my genre then that in itself is no mean feat.

Tedd I take my hat off to you, the sound and arrangement of this is of an extremely high standard. Yet again no offense but way beyond how I remember your tracks. Still out there but has a musical sound basis which ties it all together

As for commercial appeal, well don't ask me, I really do not know enough about this genre to say one way or another, I know it will never be mainstream, but I can really see this getting a lot of play in clubs and specialised venues. But like I say”Who know, Not me”

In summing up great track , well worth a listen and still lots of the Tedd-Z way of thinking that I came to like years ago.
