Onto my fourth review for this batch (or second if you don't count the two that got deleted due to recent hacking probs), and after recovering from an inner ear infection, I move onto yet another collab between Mark Holley, Mark Alexander (who I've reviewed before) and Joseph Rodriguez (who I've reviewed earlier on this batch)!
As Mark Holley has said in the song info, this has done through various versions and tweaks (I believe Joseph's input was included much later on aswell... correct me if I'm wrong), and the work on it has really paid off! Everything sounds great, Mark Alexander has given it his best, the lyrics are deep without trying to be too hard-hitting, and Joseph's performance fits the track so perfectly, you wonder why it wasn't there to begin with! It just goes to show that taking on the advice from people who comment on your tracks is definitely worth it!
If I had to nit-pick, I would say that the news samples at 2:04 are quite low in the mix and need to be turned up a little, and the whoosh sound that first appears at 3:34 lacks a bit of atmosphere (I reckon some reverb and/or delay could make it sound better)! Apart from that, the track is practically flawless!
Pizza Score: Nothing! Yeah... you heard me! Forget the pizza and just listen to the track, dammit!
