To day I will be reviewing one of the superstars of mp3unsigned SUPERHUMAN(Dave). I asked him to tell me about his background, the following is his reply:  I am 100% self thaught, I learned to play the guitar by visualising patterns on the fretboard, to be honest I have a tough time remembering the names of the strings, musical theory escapes me but I learned by listening to greate guitarists like Jason Becker and Marty Friedman.
I've played in a few bands over the years most notable was a band called Nexus - we played a lot of gigs and got some radio airtime in the 90's in Ireland. I also played keyboard in a Doors-style college band many moons ago called Kiki Largo, a trance metal project called Cyberpunk and a death metal band called Retribution. Plenty of variation there! I'm most comfortable playing instrumental work and I reckon 'Contact' is the track that will define where I go from here - more use of interesting storyline samples (something I used to do a lot in the trance project). I'm also working on introducing some orchestral backings and keyboards to come up with a new sound. Sci-fi themes are where I'm at now but that could easily change, if I could catagorise my own sound I would call it Progressive Future Metal - has a nice ring to it!

Now on with the review, the song starts of with an awesome intro.Showcasing some of Daves journeyman string slingin talents. Changes are everywhere. shreding arpeggios. Drums wailing a kick a#s beat. This tune just rocks in every sense of the word. For me to go through all of the changes and moods Dave goes thru in this song would take a month, and it would give the surprise away. IMO you must experience Contact for yourself. It's one of those kinds of songs that really can't be reviewed by one person because it will give each listener an experience all their own. For me it was flighty, otherworldly, racey, and dare I say seductive. No I'm not of the gay persuation. But it has all of the elements that defines greatness.

Dave is definitely on his way to stardom. With his skills, his thought in song structure, his ability to put his thoughts in writing, his ideas of what his music will invoke on the listener, is pure genuis. Superhuman will, when released reach the top of any and all metal charts. Daves got a winner here in his debut album. Don't miss out on this future guitar legend. This song Contact comes to you from me with the highest of rating and recommendations. For a journey you won't soon forget HAVE A LISTEN. Well done Dave(SUPERHUMAN)
