Heavier than most of Pidgeman's other tracks this one caught my interest becuase of the distorted guitars and crip powerchords. Th eproduction throughout is very clear and the instruments sit nicely with good separation between rhythm guitar and bass. Drums sounded good to me despite some comments regarding cymbal levels. Last comment on the mix and the only part that needs minor adjusting is the vocals. They are just right for the chorus but need a slight nudge up in volume during the verse sections.
As far as song structure goes, this track has radio appeal written all over it. Solid commercial base in verse chorus style with some nice breakdowns to keep the interest and allow each instrument an individual voicing.
Execution is flawless as usual, Pidgeman is a very good guitarist and you can hear it from the opening chord - very tight throughout. The guitar solo was a very nice addition - 80's influences shine through nicely. A lot of guitar based bands fail these days as the players simply don't have the skill to pull off even basic solos. Allthough this is not the most technical solo you can easily hear there is a wealth of guitar knowledge and skill behind it - style and technique are perfect. Nice guitar tone too
Overall, I go for heavier ('nastier') music myself but this track held my attnetion through to the end - and that's saying something!
