Carol Sue Kirkpatrick  - I Am Invisible (with Mantrasolo)

 

Right from the start this track has an immediate presence – Just like the Lady who has penned this track. Carol was one of the first people I became very aware of when I first started looking around this site properly. Not only has Carol commented on my tracks regularly and with feeling, she regularly comments on all the artists of mp3Unsigned and never fails to amaze me how she can find the time to always congratulate chart winners!! Carol is always ready to listen to other artists work, and more importantly to give encouragement. I am sure others would agree when I say a lot of respect to you for that.

 

  

 

 

There is obvious grit in this track – just oozing from the vocals, guitars and drums. A great reflection, I feel, of Carol’s gritty personality.  Strong Vocals - Suzie Quatro or Blondie maybe? Both strong iconic females, that spring to mind when I hear this track, and it does kinda reminds me of the eighties Punk/Rock era.  I like the subject topic of the vocals too. Love the emphasis on “ I feel so – empty” . That is when my head just wants to “mosh” along …lol. Great construction, strong vocals, good upbeat/lively tempo, pretty front Lady and neat arrangement all give this track the number One chart position it deserves.  

 

Right up to the ending this track keeps its explosive feel and maintains a feeling of strength, leaving us all with no doubts that this Lady is one tough but very giving Lady. Great tune!!
