My review of Scott slatter – Love
This is my second maybe 3rd time I have reviewed Scott
From the first time I heard Scott’s stuff I thought this guy can sing and sing really well at that
This track for me though not sure why maybe it will be made clear before the end of the review
This track doesn’t really do it for me. Yes the vocals are good the melodies are good but
There are a few mistakes in the track, mainly the beats; I probably wouldn’t have put a beat in this track. I don’t think it really needed it, probably would have sat better for me just Scott and the guitar
It’s a personal preference more than constructive because this track is going down really well with the reg’s on the site, so it’s a case of one mans view and more there comments and this is a review so I get to play the track over and over again. so I am probably listening to the track a little closer than others have been doing
But here is my point the drums are out of sync in a few places, also the guitar is out of time and to my ears also out of tune or maybe old strings? Not sure but it sounds out of tune? Hope this aint taken badly but I have heard Scott’s stuff before and he as always impressed but I feel that Scott could have done this track a lot better and a lot tighter
Plus points gr8 vocals all though im not keen on the lack of lyrics more harmonise than probably needed
I never really been a fan of the la la la and the do do do type lyrics with the gymnastic harmonise this is deffo a personal pref and Scott should not even think about this part of the review cos the guy has an amazing voice just this track really didn’t hit home like the others he has done for me
Hope this helps you get the track up 2 your normal pro standard and hope you take it as constructive not a personal dig
