For a newbie/beginner, the composition is conceived well, and the arrangement was laid out in a thoughtful manner. I can hear a lot of the influences you mention on your page, but you do not call special attention to any of them, which is always a good thing for a player of your level.
There are enough genres/styles blended in to make this tune interesting to other devotees of jazz fusion, prog rock, etc., but you know as well as I do that the commercial appeal of this track is not very high, so I scored you appropriately.
I suggest that instead of looking for .mp3/MIDI tracks to play over, that you invest some cash in programs like ACID along with .wav loops/samples CDs from pro drummers and bassists.
