This song is an epic metal song that has different personalities. I hear a mellow hint of Pink Floyd and a mixture of Sabbath, Priest... This all blends into a metal song that speaks of letting go, death, in my analysis. The song structure is smooth to frantic and back again and on to the climax. This schizophrenic mixture seems to work and I liked the structure. This song, 3 Away, has a despairing feel to it, which emanates from the first note.
The mix was good, although the vocals were a bit muffled at times. I know the track isn't finished yet, and I don't mean any offense to the talent and integrity to the band members themselves. I enjoyed the song immensely and will rate it. This brand of metal is not for everyone. A cult following perhaps. I will listen to this band again and I recommend that you would do the same.
Keep up the good work! - Edrummer of Emissary
