I have to admit, shamefully, that I have never reviewed msl before, and I am happy that I have today.
I found that this track took quite a while to get into a change at the
beginning, but once it did, it really took me for a ride, the drastic
melody changes didn't sound out of place and lept me listening,
although I found the tracks meat and potatoes to be a little short
compared to how long the intro was, but overall the recording was great
and had some fun production.
I especially liked the change somewhere in the middle where it almost
sounded like it came out of nowhere and carried me further along with
the song, which out of fear of being boring with this style of music,
almost needs to be done to maintain the listeners interest, and msl did
a fabulous job of maintaining my interest.
I especially like the choir in the second phrase of the inrto, I felt
it added to the mystery and wonder for what was to come. It has an
interesting melody throughout, the harmonies are done in fitting
measure, in other words, great choir.
The drum production is very easy on the ears, although I would not have
ridden on the cymbal when the drums first kicked in, but that's me, and
it does sound fine. Nice programming and use of electronic elements.
This was a pleasure to listen to.
I am pleased ot say, I like it!!!!
