My name is Deanna Burkett otherwise known as Just De...long story...I hail from a small town in North Florida just big enough to get us a dot on the map (which is how I like it) I've been singing since I was a little girl, and I come from a very large musical family. I write and compose my own music and hope to relate to everyone who hears my songs. I am a very optamistic person but, am no stranger to rejection, still I mange to take it standing up!!! I love to hear feedback, good or bad, so let me know what you think.I really like to sing in front of a live audience.....although I must admitt I still get a little nervous. But in time I think I'll get over that!!!

Oh my goodness...there are so many, hmmmm....Loretta Lynn, Emmilou Harris, Dolly Parton, Carly Simon, Rhonda Vincent, Allison Krauss, Seldom Scene, Patsy Cline, Reba McIntire, Etta James, Billy Holiday, The Cherryholmes Family, and of course the late, great Bill Monroe....I think I'm outa breath. Those are a few of my favorites and as you can see I dont stick to one genre!!!
