I feel sorry for everyone who 'collabed' with Dan. I genuinely do. But on the other hand, you have to laugh at the complete cheek of pulling this off and fooling so many for so long.

Yes, Dan was completely in the wrong and I understand that, I sincerely hope it has no repercussions for his collaborators though, that would be just unfair.  I also hope it doesn't stop people from collabing with each other.  None of us really know who anyone else on here really is, well, I know who Tommy Twin is cos he was best man at my wedding, but apart from that, nope, I know nothing about nobody.

A real shame this, I have to admit, but if I'm to be completely honest, I do find it amusing because it takes an amazing maount of balls to try to pull this off, an incredible amount of cheek to actually pull it of, and an incredibly disturbed mind to concoct the disasters that Dan suffered.  A real, top notch grift.  However, he's now found out and its time for the wheels of justice to grind their path through it all.

Its all about entertainment.

P.S.  I've just ordered some Gary Hoey stuff from t'internet, so hopefully this boost in sales will make him a bit more lenient in his pursuit of Dan.

Great Artist Gary Hoey, I have heard of him , Hocus Pocus Just 1 of his great tunes, I have been listening to a bunch of his songs.

Okay guys, its official.  HE'S A FRAUD.
 
I recieved a response from Gary's wife Nicole.  She was of course shocked that this has been perpetrated and Gary's record company will be handling this from now on.
 
She pointed out a couple more songs that are fakes (basically all the good ones) that are also Gary's and she thinks some others may actually be Vai of Satriani tracks.

Give me Tonight = Riptide - off of Endless Summer II
 
As I understand it its one thing to pass off someone else's tracks as your own in a non-commerical sense, say by just giving them away.  We call that copyright infringement.  But its a slightly different ballgame when someone is selling them.  That's called piracy and its a criminal offense, not a civil one.
 
Dan, if you are reading this, it would be a good time to remove ALL 'your' music from the internet.  You could face large fines if you don't.  It would make everything easy for everyone, mainly yourself.
