One Man Army of Alternative/Grunge/Rock
Blackbird
My neck hurts from the mini head bangin that I couldn't help doing during this one..... Dan
Immense - Loved every ear bursting moment of it
Vocals will really do this piece justice dude. Didn't like the overall compression with (what sounds like) the kick drum knocking thru everything but still sounding toppish. The other drum sounds were awesome like the roll at 1min 08 (repeated). I wouldn't recognize a blackbird if it sat on me head and shat tho hee hee. Good riffage m8 and bass comes across good. Maybe a little swell in the eq at about 2.5kHz would have done the blackbird more justice. Good tune and I await the version with vocal. Rated despite being late.
Awesome sound T-Bone - real professional production. Love the tones throughout and the riffing screams UFC type aggression. Nice bit o' wah pedal thrown in there too. Been a while since I heard some tight metal on the site, thank .... for Dead America!
Fat tone on the bass. Assume you are using some light fuzz or gain on the bass. Sounds good though man.
Whoo, that solo just past the three minute mark...that's sweet! Nice tune, definitely built for vocals and looking forward to hearing those. Bass sounded sufficient, certainly adequate (how's that for some lame adjectives?) and as I'm still struggling to get that far recording bass tracks with my old Gibson Kalamazoo I applaud your production! Enjoyed my listen, it's inspired me to work a little harder on my bottom end...
Not my usual cup of tea/genre but I love this!!! Some dirty chord changes in this which do it for me!! It's a very tight production all round, studio quality from my monitors!! As I have previously stated, this isnt my prefered genre, but any muso worth his/her salt will verify my thoughts!!! RATED!!! Baz
Very tight and solid - good purchase. Good track as well... Rated!
