I commented on this when I was a newbie to the site (well, within a couple of years anyway). You are the man!
Hot stuff loving the mix
Very nice guitar, vocals...outstanding track! Gets my vote!
That guitar almost speaks! Amazing tone - - this has everything that made the blues so influential and great. The tune is like breathing - natural - as if it was always in the air - and it just needed you to hear it and share it with us - brilliant.
This is great. Love the lead guitar, love the feel.
Wow, that is one great mix... everything sits in it's own place and sounds great Craig... damn that guitar sound good, really good! rate
I was sure I commented on this previously, but then I've been that busy on here that I probably didn't. I really like the feel off of this tune, really good groove. The lead guitar sound is very, very Zappa which is dynamite. top track, rated, sweet!

Great lyrics!! I love the beat, it's quite funky. The effect on the guitar in the instru really suits the vibe in the song. (I'm listening to it now)
Wow. Pretty Heavy. Great Song!!!!
Very powerful, and very well done. I loved all the effects. Regards, Jack
LOVE THIS SONG - maybe my favorite of yours, craig. it makes me scream with pleasure. 8) anne
Quality track Craig, the guitar playing is perfecto, great lyrics and production, and loving the almost vocoded sounding guitar parts, your vocal style is reminiscent of 70's greats, excellent track and pleased I dropped by :)
Hi, Spunky song with powerful lyrics. Well done. Cheers, Smudge from Smudgie
This is one hell of a tune, This has got to be the most chilled out, groovin blues track ive ever heard.Beatz and vocals are just right.Niceone
guitar especially in the intro and the interlude is great. this song's got a nice groove, quite contradicting the lyrics. vocals as usual immaculate and expressive. the drum loop could vary a bit more, but that's the only criticism i could think of. fab.
dammit, what's with this song....just had to come listen AGAIN!
Well played and catchy! I like the drumloop (done in FL Studio?), altho it could change a bit more for me! Still a cool track! D/L/rate/nom/etc.
Nice intro produced....like the way the track gets going. Some melodramatic guitars give it a nice bluesy go. builds nice this track...definatly keeps my attention to it. Cool catchy background structures that go with the vocal parts. Breaks are also excellent played gives the track a very nice feeling. Great music although not directly my style but enjoyed this very much maybe the catchy rhythm in it contributes to this. Good vocal work by the way!
Simple song but very listenable. Would make a great driving tune. Rated
came back for another listen.... superb song, mate, gives me a warm glow all over :)
Stupendous piece of work. One of your VERY best
What a briliant song!! Best regards Dirk
Hey,this is an excellent piece of work here.Awsome effects, liked the way you sang it,liked the beat, and the production is top class.Dont know what kind of mic your using, but it sounds like I'm sitting right in front of ya.Crystal clear everything. Was wondering what kind of mastering software your using.Anyway, just thought I'd push some buttons and say Hi. Laurel
Love the production, your stereo feild setup is awesome, everythin g has space in this great track, Tremendous lyrics and very catchy
This really does harken back to the days of the great singer/songwriters. Dylan and Bowie leap to mind. Never disappointed with your stuff Crocky!
Well I haven't been commenting too much lately but this one is worth a few words. Wonderful being one of them. Graham
This is a great track!! Love the talk box as well as the lyrics. Your voice has a grittiness to it that fits perfectly in all your tunes. BAd LOVe JUNKie
Great tone on the guit talkbox! Been since the Frampton days in the '70's that I've heard one! Nice break! Vocals are nice and silky with accoustic nicley mixed in! Yip...it's a keeper...and the Huey departure. Congrats on the #1 slot too btw Mister Crock! R8 all day!
A star is re-born! hehe... Very very nice to see this at #1 Craig! *APPLAUSE* Gave me another chance to listen several more times too! Fantastic song, songwriter, artist and person! Congratulations my friend! ;)
well deserved number 1!!!!!
I agree with Acoustimick, whew! Don't think I could type all thaT, so glad he said it so well. Really did love this track wow! Vin
I always seem to run a risk of upsetting someone somewhere when i say things like...`THIS is REAL music`..!. But, i stand by my conviction to repeat to ALL OF U...!!!! that THIS IS REAL MUSIC. This has taken many many years of hard playin, and mibbi hard livin too lol, to get to this standard of musicianship. Long before the VSTs, wav`s, mp3s, etc etc were around, there were guys like this doin things totally amazing....with just a guitar or piano. Pure talented barstewards. So pull up a chair, sit at peace, and be prepared to get educated by a true musician. Craig....ur an inspiration m8...u got the lot from me again. Amazing song.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fabulous song!!! just fabulous. That guitar tone is soooo gorgeous, dammit it should be LOUDER in the intro :))))) on a creative note (just my personal taste)....make the bassline more varied, use a phat kickdrum and bring up that snare a notch, and this song would rank wayyyyyyyyyyy up there in my charts!
You mentioned in a recent comment on a song of mine how you would like other artists to perform your music? Why, why, why I ask myself - would this man who just amazes me with his talents would even consider the thought. You own this one Craig, as every one I have ever heard from you. Struck a chord with me again... Read between the lines and couldn't agree more. Nominate the great. Thank you for the download! ;)
Crocky, Crocky, I had forgotten how good you were... It's been ages. This track is wonderful ear candy, nice New Orleans feel...
This really rocks, a true foottapper. In my opinion it's a great art to be able to combine profound messages like yours with such cool music and to make it a little hit even. Fab laid back singing. Love that whining, screaming and telling-tales lead guitar as well - it has a near East touch to me also, so it matches the song perfectly. Excellent!
Vox is great dude but the lyrics were prob too subtle for me without you explaining it was an anti-war song. Other than that a great song and duly rated
Enjoyed this from the first bar to the last. Great vocal performance and superb beat. Trif!
Good laid back groove to this. The vocals fit the mood perfectly. Some nice talk box guitar too. Rated. Craig
Nice sound Craig (Hmmmm would've loved the chance to work with this) - Agree with Ricky about the guitar sounds very distinctive and stylish. great vocal (as usual!). I fancied it being a little longer - but hey - can always play it again!! Don't you dare take it down 'cos I wanna come back ;) - jon
oh damn forgot to mention guitar...wow!
Love the use of the hi-hat, for some reason it gives the impression of movement...like a steam train. Great vox and atmosphere here.
likes this:) - but I wanted a couple of more verses:) cause I wanted to know why chain gangs in babylon are so care free..lol..no, really.. its intriguing and the feel/groove is solid. I enjoyed it:)
Mark Knopfler in the house ! 'Don't take that the wrong way, cause it has an awfull lot of ambience !!! Lovin it, downloading it ! Cheers, Hans.
Shalom - I can really appreciate this, great guitar work and the vocals are top notch, thoroughly enjoyed. Rated Peace and blessings Deborah
Some really great lead guitar and I love the shuffling rhythm; really enjoy your vocal style too, and it's made for this kind of music. That being said I'd have liked a bit more variation in places here, just a little change of theme to break it up, but it's still cool enough as it is. Cheers, jon.
Crockmister comes alive!...sorry that was a Frampton reference! Nice to hear a talkbox, as its not so common anymore is it. Nice laid back, swinging groove to this. Another quality offering from you Craig....liked very much. Mark
Cool sounds here Craig.Nice and laid back you fit it like a glove..verry nice. Andy :)
as always very nice vocals...the accoustic sounds very familiar...saying that 2 chords aint really gonna sound that original and i like the talk box styled guitar fx of the lead guitar...a bit to loopy for my own personal taste... but for me the vocals are what win it very good vocal performance
Enjoyed track, lovely guitar parts, great strummed rhythm guitar, nice drumming, lovely clean vocal, great feel to track, quite short could have listened to it a bit longer lol, which is always a good sign, easy to rate :)

The new CRoCkmIstEr cd "swimming in air" is in final mix, due out in ???2004.
It has to be said that I do have a welcome mat out for Crockmister whenever there is something new on offer. Mainly because Craig Sofaly (aka The Mister man) is the kind of musician and songwriter who is thoroughly professional in everything that he does, whatever the genre. One of my video highlights of late has been the video he made testing out his new guitar sequencer on a new trac
In October 2004 I reviewed a track called Walking Between Two Worlds from a new musician to me at MP3 Unsigned. It was an absolutely knockout track in every respect, but especially vocally (I compared Craig's voice to both Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam) and Van Morrison and nothing I have heard since has deviated one iota from that first knockout punch. This is one artist that is absolutely guara
Up for a review is CrOckMisTer’s new track; Just My Morning. This is my first review so if I make a mistake, I apologize in advance. I’m sitting in my motorized power chair in front of my computer speakers. I just downloaded the song and I’m about to press play. So here we go. We start off with a nice strumming guitar melody. Very laid back sounding and soothing. Makes me feel
I love drunken jam sessions... great musicians often complain about their technique being off when half pissed but there is a certain magic that comes through from the looseness. This track demonstrates some great accoustic guita playing. I was ver impressed from the word go, lovely easy vibe to it. The piece moves along at a nice pace, without being overly in your face. It's only after a bout a m
Next up is a from Craig (CrOckMisTer) called 'Summers Child' and we are into a folky/funky kind of laid back summer groove :) Now this track caused me many problems in this review because although I am trying to be constructive and actually really like the meat of the track, the melody, the singing, the playing etc, there are other aspects of it that really annoyed me, but how much of my own perso
Lullaby In Blue I'm no expert at the reviewing system and as a matter of fact this is the first review I have ever done. I hope to do alright by Craig and Deggsy with this review as I really want to express my feelings about this song in the most proper way. I have choosen to review "Lullaby In Blue" for the pure fact that this song draws me back to listen time and time again. Craig had once take
Crockmister has signed up for my reviews, and has been patient as it took me awhile to get to them. Firstly, showtunes, happen to be one of my least favorite styles of music. in general i can appreciate showtunes, but cant stand listening to them, peaking at musicals, which to me are extremely hard to sit through. Part of this is becasue my girlfriend is a ballet dancer and im dragge
This review is kind of thanks for reviewing my track and also a late review. A wile back I put some reviews up & Craig was one of them that didn’t get reviewed, not sure what happened think maybe it was a system crash or I could have just had something on where I missed the reviews. Anyways Craig has just asked another member if he could review this track and I noticed that the list was closed
very funky, as u said it would be. also great lyrics "i aint giving up on loving, im giving up on love" why did i think of that? good one.
Hello to one and all. This outing I’ll be pontificating about a tune by CrOckMisTer (with “ music and funkadelics by Deggsy”) entitled “Giving Up On Love”. In doing so, we will be delving into some funky soul.
Crockmister AKA Craig Sofaly is an MP3 Unsigned artist and one half of Deggsy & Crockmister, IMO possibly the best duo around right now. Certainly the slickest, anyway. They came real close to getting artist of the year 2005 from me and did feature highly in my year end review. Not bad considering the amount of tracks that went to form this high opinion. Artists that re
What a breath of fresh air. It has a definative style that reminds me of Tom Waits, but probably better in its delivery. The song itself is faultless, and this would be a product ,I would buy.
They say (who say?) that good things come in threes and that maxim certainly holds true for the three collaborations I have reviewed so far from this extremely versatile duo. Matter of fact, ALL of the tracks - Spinning Around (August 2005), Tired Of Being Poor (September 2005) and These Dreams Of Mine (October 2005) - have all got extremely high rating from me and 2 Recommendeds and a Must
Yep, yep, I know you are used to seeing Deggsy/Crockmister as the billing for this duo - especially after a cracking run of two blistering first tracks (Spinning Around - August 2005 and Tired Of Being Poor - September 2005). I'm just trying to keep you on your toes :D I thought Spinning Around was (and I quote) 'in-con-ferkin-parable' and that Tired Of Being Poor was 'impeccable'. As
Summer’s Child by CrOckMisTer CrOckMisTer (aka Craig Sofaly) is one of those MP3Unsigned artists who has been around d the site for quite a while and has established a faithful and enthusiastic following for his music (both on his own and with his collaborations with Deggsy). So much so that at the time of writing his artist page had received just less than 19,500 visits which, given that
I first came across this artist at MP3 Unsigned last October when I reviewed his Walking Between Two Worlds track. It still sits on my hard drive and still gets the occasional workout which says a lot about what I thought of the track. It's a very professional slice of music, with a vocal style that deserves wider exposure. Crockmister's style is a kinda/sorta cross betwee
Now here is an interesting piece of music that has crossed my path. I have always enjoyed crockmister’s music in the past, and when he asked me for a review I knew it would be good stuff. I was not disappointed. The song is "Jacob's Ladder"(2).
I guess I am sucker for the mid to low tempo trancy kind of folk. This is a beautuful song and I don't really see a whole lot that has to be done production wise if that is what you meant? Mesmerizing, comfortable, easy, nice.
The emotion of the Vocal is what I like the best about this song.
Another new geezer to me (and probably you too). This is a track I picked up over at MP3 Unsigned which is a nice place to hang out of a nighttime. That's the only time I'm allowed out anyway. Aaah, such are the joys of fatherhood... If I didn't already know about Crockmisters pedigree, this track would have knocked me on my ass. As it is, knowing something about the artist, it STILL knocked
This one’s beautiful, but it took a few listens to really strike home just how good it is. The intro to this song is unusually long, the vocal in fact doesn’t come in until about 2’30, but boy you don’t notice it at all. Over that two and a half minutes, you hear a wonderful dreamy and slightly melancholy soundscape unfold, with beautiful interplay between three different guitar parts over the t
