This is absolutely incredible Kaesmel
frekin amazing...padage...take another rating and nom for this week congrats on 1
Well I know I know i've congratulated you privatley, But this is my public statement. Bloody well done(hooray) Class, Class , Class. Enjoy your time at NUMBER1 Andy. Steve
Well it seems I listened and didn't comment! I'm going senile Andy because I was sure I had. Never mind, no time like the present. What strikes me most about your music over the last six months is how much more dynamic it has become. There is a confidence that, tto me, wasn't there in suc abundance before. It seems that doing these collaborations brings out the very best in you. Congrats on the #1! Graham
very cool congratulatons on being #1 !!!!!!!!! Love it!! Very movie like!!!!
Andy - nice one mate - very well done and congratulations on being number 1 !!
Just dropped by to say Congratulations on your Top Spot Andy.... I've been learning alot and getting a different perspective on how to do certain things just listening to your tracks... I've got an orchestral piece that's a collab with Dawn that we'll be putting up soon... gotta work out the vocals... and by taking on an orchestral song, i soon realized and appreciated the work that goes into that kinda thing... your'e a very talented man!
Big Congratulations on being #1! How wonderful! I know you really put a lot into this rendition of Steve's song. It is a beautiful orchestration Andy! (((Big Hugs))) :) Carol Sue
Thanks guys , really appreciate your support. Andy :)
congrats on top spot dude i thought i had commented on this already looks like i commented over on steves page instead gr8 piece music m8 very well done have my ratings on this also :)
Congrats on the #1 spot man ! I have to go and listen to the original now... cause I'm ashamed to say I haven't heard it yet.... This spot is well deserved Andy !
congratulations mate..and fair play to Ditheramb for the inspiration. p e a c e
Someone rubbed a musical lamp and a 'genie-us' popped out.Andy F is his name........ Another charter for sure, Andy.
That's quite a jump from the original you have taken, and the result is a great classical piece, with lovely arrangement, very daring contrasting themes and impressive highs and lows. It's not one of these 'Ditheramb goes classical' rehashes where the music is just copied to the violin track, you have made a new piece of music, inspired by the badass original, of course. Great job, Andy.
Who's a clever boy then!:-) Just listened to the original which I missed while I was away. This sounds fantastic Andy - an intricate and clever re-working of the original. BRAVO!!! rated, Martin
Thanks to WDM and to Laura: Appreciate you both taking the time! Take Care Andy :)
Dark and very powerful!...excellent melodys throughout. The orchestration is just superb! sounds like the LPO!...Fantastic work all around, Andy for this great piece of work, and Ditheramb for the great music and melodys. Brave indeed, but perfectly executed! Very well done:) Mark
... can't comment too much on the technicalities, because I don't know much abiout those.. lol but to my ear, this is pure genius.
Wow. VERY good music in thi one. I
No way!!! This is just incredible! Ditheramb are an excellent band but this just puts the track in a totally different place altogether! I'm stunned! Mixing this with the original track a'la Metallica's S&M; would be an experience. The sounds are outstanding and so REAL sounding!! I'm gonna shut up now 'cause my jaws' still on the floor!!
The original was really something special..I do remember it having had a refresher course! This is a real cool mix Andy..the orchestral parts seem to boast even more drama and suspense. Every part of this track I can hear samples and loops..beautiful. The high string alone that plays that pizzicato melody is a dream. The pad work is phenomenal squire..such visions and impact. There seems to be a section where the key transposes up slightly..that really is stunning..sounds amazing. What an angle to approach this track...theres not many folk that could of pulled such a remix off from such a quality track anyway..you passed with flying colours mate..the bees! peace.
Andy... this is just awesome man... great interpretation and instrumentation... the pizz strings and the timpanis and so very cool... what do you use for sound modules (VST's)? awesome job - rate, nom... Mark
This is superb. Sounds like a proper sound track to a film. Really well put together. A very epic track. Very good job. rates and noms.
Very nice work indeed Andy! Love the drums and all the instrumentation but the drums really work for me along with the percussion. Great job mate you should be proud. Rainy x
I forgot to mention, I think everything from the pizzicato string bit onwards is really particularly stunning. It's a very nice break in the track! Did you do this on notation software first or play it in by the way?
Really like this interpretation! I personally did recognise bits of the original in it, particularly the chilling clashes! Like all your stuff, very very good!
I love the original of this (already) and the slant AndyF has put on this is startling. A couple of brave men here and a big round of applause for an amazing effort to AndyF!
Compelling! (Think I spelt that wrong, nevermind lol), i haven't heard the origanal so will go and listen to that now, but as for this one, it is superb!Lots of varied tones, very nicely put together.Rated
Wow whatan awesome interpretation. This is a real quality effort, full of emotion and power, made me think of Rammstein and their tracks that got Classiced! Awesome stuff to work with origanally from Steve and the guys, but a great new dimension this has gone to. ONAGER
Bravo. As a musician I was a bit cautious about turning my baby over to someone else, And having nothing to do with its rebirth(Not that i was worried about Andy's talent) But I'm so glad I did. Andy you have excelled my expectations, you have bought so much colour and depth to the various parts. I think if i had been involved in any way, I would have stiffled the track. Rated and Nominated (I maybe bias, but I think its well worth a nom.) Steve
Thank you Dawn very much yes.....Steve has not heard it yet but I am hopeful he will like it.Thank you for you kind words of encouragement they are much appreciated as always.:) Take care chat soon Andy :)
I love it, despite not recognising the original in it. You have certainly worked extremely hard on this Andy and since it is an interpretation, it is really what Steve thinks that is important but as a stand alone piece, I think it is dramatic and beautiful. Congrats Maestro!
Thanks to Virus and Quatar for your valued comments! Andy :)
beautiful
Its not every day that your here a cross-genre translation like this. It sounds like a whole different piece of music. Excellengt work Andy.
Thank you Michael very much I appreciate your foresight and knowledge.I am flattered. Take Care Andy :)
My oops! I understand now this is not Steve's actual track but rather Andy's interpretation of Steve's track! Sticking with Bravo! :)
Hey Andy. Funny that you put a classical version of this song when I'm doing a review of the original this time around. I'll definitely mention this in the review as I see it's a lot of effort put into it. I did notice some changes like what used to be the guitar lead is high string staccato and the part where it usually did a perfect fourth to major third is a perfect fourth to minor third and I liked the little minor scale run at that one part. This is pretty cool Andy! I'm no expert at music theory but this may be enhancing my intellect, so I thank you for that. Great orchestral arrangement dude! It's hard to make a great remake of an already great song. You got some skills. ;) Rated and nominated! :D P.S. Really enjoyed the ending parts of this.
"The darkest hour sees the light!" :) A very dramatic and intense listen! Like a movie picture show - had me at the edge of my seat. The production is superb and way above what I am hearing on average. Andy and Steve you both have such awesome talents! I am more than impressed with your additions to Steve's creation Andy! You are like the "match" that lit the candle, on top of the icing to the cake! Will nominate when I reload my bullets for the button! Your time spent making the additions was time well spent in my opinion! Bravo! -rated- :) Carol Sue
well now this wasn't what i was expecting but i think you've captured the theme very well, i don't quite understand what a score is but i can appreciate this track for what it is, and that is very very very well composed and a brilliant track deserving of a rating , abeey x
Hi! I have been interested in music since an early age and now enjoy making tracks with the various software available.Such as Edirol, EWQLSO and my new addition, Miroslav Philharmonik which has some strings to die for, all this sequenced in Fruity Loops. I now seem to concentrate on composing Classical Soundtrack material. I also enjoy rearranging tracks in collaboration with the awesome talent on show here. Please stop by anytime and enjoy! The Chambers album has been accepted in the Music Dept of the National Library of Israel and hopefully will be added to the holocaust museum there.

I really enjoyed the melody. Loved the flute.... more than the bass :)
If I had my music software working, I could put my finger on it, but overall, just loved it!
Seeing as how I have been completely laid up for the past two doing doing nothing but honking into a handkerchief and spluttering like a man drowning (Ed: just a seasonal cold, tut tut poor reviewer), it seems appropriate that I should come riding back into the fray on orchestral wings. On second thought, after that sentence, maybe I should just go back to bed. Andrew Foyston (to give
Valour and Honour – Andy F- Essence Review Well, what can I say? It’s a huge track and no one can deny! Huge sounds, very dramatic indeed! I’ll try to skip the obvious comment of “this should be in a film” because it is obviously your intention Andy, to make your tunes fire the imagination and conjure up all kinds of themes and scenes to which your tracks could be impl
This an immensely dramtic and emotional piece of music. It's actually difficult to think where to start. The beginning is probably the best place. The haunting melody at the beginning truly sums up the emotion I can only imagine would be felt by prisoners being taken to the gas chambers. The bells add a nice touch, hinting to everyone that death is close. You can almost smell the mud and
Andy wondered if i was up for classical pieces when he submitted this for review! Good news is, yes I am! I have always loved orchestration, as does everyone if you really think about it. Whes used to it's full scope, 'classical' music fully captures and envokes all the feelings and meaning that modern music strives to recreate in different ways. Andy's 'The Last Galleon' does just that, the sus
T'was brass monkey weather time, three years ago, I reviewed a track called Di Da Mix (October 2003) and although liking its content (a little), disliking its production (even littler) and thoroughly berated the composer to get serious about his sound. AndyF (yep, you guessed it) obviously did because as many of you know, he's been in here plugging away ever since and btw, he did get s
Currently number one in MP3 Unsigned's Official chart, DHGC is a collaboration from two artists I have come to know very well, one for a very long time and one I've met within the last year. I first met AndyF a million years ago on another site when I reviewed his first track Di Da Mix (October 2003) and liked it. That hasn't always been the case, not because Andy isn't a good musician
Call me a sycophant if you like, I just don't care. I am bowled over by the undoubted talents of Andy F, and his latest track, Tears, is no exception. Building his orchestration around the superb vocals of Amy Caldwell, the loving care and attention given to this crisp and professional work is evident from the outset. It's always easy to eulogise over great songs and, naturally, personal taste c

ONE NOTE FIRST - “Although I am not totally into classical music, this song certainly has made me become interested in it. Fantastic score, fantastic instruments, fantastic feel to the song – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED” Review – Starting off smooth, the piano work done at the beginning is great, although could have been uplifted a bit to hear it a bit better, but with all the other instrument work
