Beautiful Girl with an Ugly Soul
This is a great track for sure! This is done so well. The title, and lyrics are great. Very well written, performed, and produced. It has that quality that you always hold true in your songwriting. A very warm feeling to this piece. Love it! Great job and always keep the faith!
Hope you are not speaking from experience. A nice twist on the beauty is only skin deep theme. A great song and a very successful collaboration here, a talent crash indeed. Love Wednesday x
This is very good from the outset. Well written both musically and lyrically! I am no expert in this field, but I know a great track when I hear one, and this is great!! Superb production too!! Baz
Chorus is a little like Stand by me by Oasis ....and different eneogh to stand on is own...has a cool country vibe to it that cuts !!! Theme wise , I dated her too !!!lol...Deggsy's got some top notch songs posted n collabs ...this is another bullseye Well done !!!!
Magic! What a great producer and vocalist you are! I really liked this alot!
Wow...I've sure known my share of girls like that! Pretty cool tune. Great song idea! Easy rate. Peace, Ron
great tune here
Deggsy pulls it off again. Pure genius at putting down tracks which vocals are made for. Beautifully sung also. Lovely track and very commercially sounding.Gets my vote. Take Care Andy:)
What a great song, super singing, catchy lyrics, great guitar work, love the piano line that comes in, excellent production, especially your vocals, with tracks this good, why listen to commercial radio, I don't bother anymore! Cheers, Andrew
What a great evening of listening on mp3u tonight and this rounds it off perfectly. Just brilliant. Big Thumbs, Gibbo
You speak the truth here. Ever since I was a kid my brain somehow uses some converter that averages out looks and personality and gives me an overall picture of what I am seeing. My friends always thought there was something wrong with me, but they were always chasing girls that didn't want to know them and ignoring the girls that would have probably had a nice time with them. Too bad this song wasn't around back then so I could have said, "LISTEN TO THIS, DO YOU GET IT???" LMAO! Sorry about talking about myself when I should be commenting on your tune, but this song really does bring up a lot of times where my friends just don't understand me. Thanks for the therapy session! HAHAHA! You and Degs did a nice job here.
Superb track! Totally enjoyed the smoothness of it all...love the words...only in the eye of the beholder eh?...met a few of them in my time too ! Well Rated keith
Great to hear another collab from you two. The lyrics are very true and I like that. Nice face - shame about the soul!! Why do Mothers always know??? Nice backing from Degs with the hammond organ sound and it works well with your guitar and vocals. Enjoyed the listen Roger. Thumbs from our camp!
Enjoyed the listen, interesting lyrics and very true...beauty is more than skin deep ! Production all sounds good to my ears and your vocals fit in smoothly ;)
Another outstanding track! Articulate instrumentation, recording and mix is what facilitates this kind of thing everytime. Great listen for me ears. Thanks! -Mike
I guess that title can go both ways...beauty outside....ugly inside....or vice versa...interesting to find that, ultimately, beauty has got to have depth or it just isn't beauty...enjoyable track from Derek...piano is a fav...the music gives you lots of melodic room to tell a "never judge a book" story. Nice guitars in here too RJ. Enjoyed your collab! Thumbs!
