Steve Blythin Steve Blythin was born in Lincolnshire, UK, in 1958. He has been playing the guitar for over 25 years and has been teaching the instrument for 11 years, coaching private students of all ages and levels through the Rock School Grades 1-8 with one to one tuition. He enjoys playing and teaching various styles; i.e. Classical and, after a recent trip to Barcelona, he got into playing Flamenco guitar. He also likes playing country style Telecaster. Steve started writing songs two years ago, the first one inspired by an intended trip to the USA, to buy a truck and trailer motor home, say goodbye to hum drum day to day lifestyle and all the things that gets on everbody's nerves, the rest of the songs just followed on after that. During the tour Steve spent two months in Nashville where he recorded his first demo CD. As Steve doesn't sing himself he used session singers, but he did play guitar on the demo along with Nashville session man Danny Parks. After the recording was completed Steve went door knocking on legendary Music Row, where all the publishers are, and although most said that they don't listen to what they call unsolicited "outside music", some did take a copy.
Steve has sent out copies to radio stations in the UK and has received very favourable reviews and feedback. Read some of the reviews on the Review page on the official Steve Blythin website. Steve has recently written a few more songs which he is looking to record as soon as possible. He is looking to promote his songs and to try to get them to any artist that might wish to record and perform them. If you are interested in using Steve's songs for recording, publishing or performance purposes, please get in touch with Steve on e-mail address [email protected]
