Aaron Solinger Biography
Singer/songwriter Aaron Solinger is a native Southern Californian. Aaron’s brand of high energy mainstream country rock is the product of years of passion, enthusiasm, and hard work. With a full length CD in the works and a long record of well received performances behind him, Aaron is actively pursuing representation that will lead to a recording contract.
Aaron’s desire to succeed in the music industry is fueled by his tireless commitment to perfecting his craft. As with his other passions, dance and baseball, Aaron believes in giving 110% effort, 100% of the time. Though he has already achieved relative success and performs regularly at a variety of venues, Aaron continues to study to improve his vocal range and songwriting skills. His heavy performance schedule affords him the sort of invaluable practical experience that comes from working before a live audience.
For the past several years, Aaron has studied with vocal coach Jon Sinclair at Sound Staging in Los Angeles, working to improve the quality and range of his voice while developing a natural and distinctive tone. He has studied music theory and guitar at the Faunt School of Music, also in Los Angeles and he was fortunate to have studied the art of songwriting with the late Nick Venet. Aaron’s lyrics are personal and soulful with a constant, underlying humor and optimism that is a poignant summation of the man himself. His goal is to write songs that will touch people’s everyday lives. His greatest conceit is the thrill he gets from hearing fans in his audience finishing the line he is singing.
Aaron’s high-energy stage show has earned him a large and loyal following. His shows are well-attended and the list of venues where he regularly performs continues to grow. His recent appearances have been at the World Famous Crazy Horse, the Cowboy Palace, the Broken Spoke, and the Bluebird Café in Nashville. A New Year’s Eve performance at First Night in Escondido prompted the celebration’s program director, Sandy Russell, to proclaim Aaron “the best entertainer we have had in our ten-year existence. [The band] was just awesome!”
Aaron has had the good fortune to play with and learn from some of the industry’s most talented and experienced musicians, including Kirke Browne (Garth Brooks), Jaysen Hawks (Nelson), Gene Liska (Freddy Fender).
While recent success has been sweet, and future success is the stuff of dreams that seem ever closer, Aaron’s passion and commitment to his music have never wavered. Whether he is playing to a crowd of thousands at a sold out venue or sitting on a barstool singing songs to a handful of patrons, the goal is always the same: “Be true to the music and true to yourself. And enjoy what you do each and every night.”
