While concluding his education at Rutgers he took an internship at Black Entertainment Television, this internship would later land him a job at BET. Taking full advantage of the position at BET he pushed to learn as much as he could. Many people in the industry saw his determination and gift as a producer and a businessman. Some of these people took him under their wings to enhance his talent. It was then that he learned how to conduct business. These types of practices have been a key factor in accomplishing so much so early in life. He has worked with Kenisha Pratt who has credits on Brandy’s last 2 albums and currently on her new album "Afrodisaic" which has a VA vibe all over it with Timberland landing over half of the album. X-Ray also worked with Carmen and Cyph who wrote, “Shout” on Michael Jackson’s last album. He also has had the pleasure to working with Jarrad Thomas who has produced on Ruben Studdard’s freshman album, as well as Destinys Child. He has been mentored and taught by The Neptune’s engineer Rob Alsh at the legendary Master Sounds in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The 25-year-old producer is well on his way producing two songs on Yahzarah’s album who is one of Erica Badu’s former Background singers and having the first single on that album called “Wishing”.
