From an early age popular music has influenced my life, legends such as Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson, the almost inimitable sound of Motown, through to todays stars like Justin Timberlake. The writing skills of Bob Marley, the energy of the Police and the production skills of Puff Daddy have all impacted on my musical desire and passion to succeed within this industry.Influences such as these have given me the fortitude to produce, write and vocalize my own tracks in my own studio, Studio 14. As a self-taught musician adept at playing keyboards, drums and guitar, I strive for success in my ability to produce uplifting urban music.
I previousy had the opportunity of performing on Carlton Television as part of their Exposure programme that showcased music from unsigned artists. I have previously performed at events such as Marcus Garvey Day, the Summerfield Festival, the Hard Rock CafÈ, Porsche Club, the Drum and many more venues across Birmingham(UK) and the Midlands. Working along side Pato Banton, UB40, and local radio stations, we are trying to raise the profile of unsigned musicians and artists in the Birmingham(UK) area. I run a competition called the Midlands Finest in conjunction with Hard Rock CafÈ, DEP International, the Birmingham(UK) Evening Mail and Carlsbro, that showcases unsigned talent, with the winner receiving studio time and promotion for their work.
My musical desire is to secure a future record deal/licence or gain recognition from production or lyrical composition.
