Paul Emerson, Rich Yodsukar, Ryan Bright, Mario Orozco, and Rich Wilson form Mayfield Heights. From the depths of Southern California, we are a pop-punk band produced out of the free pages of Craigslist.
Formed in March of 2004, our beginnings have been fulfilling and bountiful, drawing attention from the industry as well as from fans. We have independantly booked a West Coast tour, and self produced our six-song EP, Whatever It Takes.
Xanadu, one of the tracks from our EP, is in final consideration to be included on the soundtrack for Disney’s upcoming feature film, Dramarama (2006).
Even before the launch of our debut album, Mayfield Heights was chosen by SilentSkyMedia.com as band-of-the-week, joining the ranks of former band-of-the-weekers such as Midtown and Say Anything. We were also recently honored by the words of Capitol Records producer Loren Israel saying, "Your band impressed me and I foresee great things with Mayfield Heights."
We have a small but very dedicated fan-base. Our street team, MH Loves ME, still in its infancy, has members from 11 different states and even one from as far away as Indonesia. Unprompted, they have set-up fan-pages and forums for the band, and continue to support our music by taking their own time to pass out Mayfield Heights demos to friends and kids at their schools.
We have already begun booking a two-week winter tour that will include 10 stops from San Diego to Texas to further promote the release of Whatever It Takes.
