Dionte' Lemoine Politte was born 4 December 1978 in New Iberia LA, USA. While growing up in a rural community, Young Kover started rhyming poetry from his reading text in the late 80's with dreams of attaining a major deal. He started working overtime writing and tracking his vocals with two cassette recorders to get heard around the area. From 1994-96 Kover continued to find himself as an artist experimenting with various styles of delivery. While stepping his game up to a higher level he was highly underestimated for his RAW TALENT in 1997 which was also his year of great success and achievement. Due to the massive setbacks and negativity posed by on lookers Kover decided to give up his dream and focus on getting into a highly respected university. After working an odd end job for almost a year he quit due to the acceptance into the university. Upon entering , dazed and confused about his professional career Kover resorted back to his one love writing numerous songs about life and material assetts. Shortly there after his grades declined to an all time low causing him to change his field of study. 2001 was a year of great hope and inspiration for Kover Boy. He met a young producer within the university which shared similiar life experiences. They collaborated continuously about the music industry as well as long and short term goals they wanted to achieve. Kover informed the young producer of the various untracked songs he had in his rhymebook and was invited to a studio session. Kover wanted to make his first single with a global appeal. While in the creative process he met a New Orleans based artist with the same aspirations of himself and the producer. The New Orleans guru spit 8 bars and Kover wanted him to feature on the underground hit "Screen Zone". Kover presented it to the local radio station and it was an instant smash. It remained # 1 on the top 8:00 at 8:00 for 2 weeks in a row. This was a phenominal experience for the young artist causing his burning passion for music to reach an all time high. All of his collaborators went thier seperate ways in due time but Kover still remained hungry and focused on his dream. His college days was quickly coming to an end. 2003 he overcame many obstacles while graduating from the university. Kover continues to work hard and diligently by networking in hopes of signing his first major contract in the near future. e-mail- [email protected]
