We detest to awake you from fool. Fueled by anger and the freedom to rebel, call it what you will, this is a protest. Dayton, Ohio’s My Latex Brain urges you to stick it to the man as they shape disgruntled anthems from a hellbroth of twitchy nerves and blistering pummel.
On the heels of their recent self-produced live album, Dysplasia Royale, My Latex Brain released Good Is Dead (Feb 2008), their first ever studio full-length. The new album, true to DIY tradition, was entirely self-produced and is the second release on MLB’s own Consumer Value Deluxe Recordings. Consisting of sixteen face-melting tracks, Good Is Dead delivers a massive dose of MLB’s signature brand of post-industrial brutality.
My Latex Brain continues to build steam as they make plans to tour in the summer. The band is currently working on a new record while putting the finishing touches on a collection of music videos for an upcoming DVD.
