I think I started singing before I could even really talk. My favorite song when I was 3 was Dolly Parton’s mega-hit “Jolene.” I knew one word of the entire song – which of course, was Jolene! My parents raised us with a rich diversity in music genre and as a result I love all different types today. When I was only five, my sister Tina and I began performing at a club named “The Front Door” in Kalamazoo, Michigan. We were known as “The Magner Sisters” and we had our own little following. Our band’s name was “Makin’ Bacon.” They were a four member band that could play anything suggested to them. It's too bad Nashville never got a hold of them. I am still thankful to Jim Daly, Ron Hutchins, Dick Hunter, and Paul Rhinehart for giving us our first opportunity to be on stage. My family moved to Nashville in the fall of 1980. Music has always been a huge part of our lives. In school I participated in an array of musical projects, including four years of marching band and chorus at McGavock High School. However, nothing developed professionally until my brother, Mark, purchased a night-club located in Lebanon, Tennessee in the summer of 2004. It was there my sister and I began performing regularly on weekends and shortly thereafter, I began working on my CD entitled “Love Matters.”
