Edgeway were formed in 2001 by and Jared Bryant & Lucy Gill in a newly built studio deep in the Wyre Forest. Drawing on common musical influences, ranging diversely from Massive Attack, Paul Weller & the late Eva Cassidy, the pair began writing, and were soon joined by Ryan Jordan (guitar), David Manser (bass) and Steve White (drums). Since forming, Edgeway have continued writing their own original material and developed their own unique style. Playing at venues across the Midlands, including the Wulfrun in Wolverhampton and Ludlow Fringe Festival, the band have received recognition from the industry and media alike, building a fan base and gaining respect amongst the hive of talent in their local area. After crafting their songs through their live performances, and time in their studio, Edgeway recorded their latest demo in February 2005. Most recently, after appearing at charity gig to raise funds for the Tsunami Disaster Appeal, the band were approached by Robert Plant and asked personally to appear with him and his new band Strange Sensation, supporting them on their forthcoming tour. Now ready to unleash their music to the masses, Edgeway prepare to take their music far and wide… For more edgeway trax & fun: www.myspace.com/edgewayuk
My name is Jared Bryant, and I have been recording, engineering, mixing and mastering bands for the last 4 years. I have also produced many dance artists and acts, who will all be shortly available to buy on cdbaby.com (Project Blubook & Severn Valley Soul & Edgeway) - to hear these acts please search for them at i-sound.com or myspace.com. I have a Yamaha AW4416, digital recording / mixing desk, aswell as an array of top mics, for every possible intstrument and vocal recording. I then generally mix down to Pro Tools, or Cubase SX, for all my post-production needs. I am based in the West Midlands area of Kidderminster & Stourbridge, and because my equipment is portable, I can come & record your band or artist in their natural, rehearsing environment. And also, because I am trained to do all the roles of pre and post- production, costs, and time consumption is minimal, in fact I will personally guarantee that you will not be able to find recording, mixing, mastering & cd duplication from anywhere in the UK! If you are interested, please contact me via e-mail: [email protected] or alternatively phone me on: (07977) 578468. Alternate email address is: [email protected]
