I'm a baby boomer who came of age in the 60's when the Beatles and the rest of the British bands conquered America. I started playing guitar in my early teens. In 1968 I joined a few of my classmates in a garage band called "The Paisley Garden" and have been on the Rock & Roll ride since.

I've always had ideas for songs but my mind is like a sieve. I can remember the chord progressions but not the tunes. Tape recording systems were too awkward for me, but with the advent of digital recording I've been able to capture some of my fleeting ideas and turn them into complete songs. I hope you like them. |

Michael Clark Lists the following Influences
The Beatles were my biggest influence (no surprise there), but I've also been influenced by the Byrds & Buffalo Springfield (and all the subsequent bands that the members formed afterward): The Yardbirds and their three stellar guitarists (Beck, Clapton & Page); Yes; Steely Dan; Billy Joel; The Who; Pink Floyd; Dylan; I'm sure I forgot somebody.......
