Celetia, Zahra and Simone, are three stunning young Ladyz whose angelic voices, sassy looks and street smart dance routines are making heads turn and wowing the crowds with their irresistible mix of style, class and sex appeal.
Ladyz In Question have enjoyed massive underground success with their track "PUSH BACK," the Ladyz answer back to Terror Squad's "Lean Back". The track went as far as to be playlisted in the US on Hot97 as well as receiving regular air play in the UK on Choice Fm, Galaxy Fm, Kix Fm and receiving massive support from the Urban Pirate radio stations plus championed throughout the UK urban press.
On the back of this several US labels began vying to secure the girls signature for a record deal. Only one such lucky label succeeded…watch this space for further details and news of a massive collaboration on the girls US debut.
Ladyz in Question….from the beginning.
The first pieces of the LIQ jigsaw were put in place wayback when childhood friends Celetia & Simone grew up sharing a passion for music, fashion and dance. Hours after hours were spent in front of the bedroom mirror, hairbrush in hand teaching themselves the words and moves of their childhood heroes…TLC, Janet Jackson, Mary J Blige, Salt n’ Pepper and SWV. Celetia’s songwriting talents soon began to emerge and thus Ladyz In Question was born both to fulfil the girl’s childhood dreams and also showcase Celetia’s songs. Zahra later joined the duo, to make it the trio that it is today. The girls are a tight unit with Simone and Zahra’s brilliantly choreographed dance routines and spine tingling harmonies superbly complimenting Celetia’s deft lyrics and hook laden tunes giving L.I.Q. their unique street smart sound.
The Ladyz have performed at various events including the Urban Music Seminar @ The Royal Festival Hall, Choice Fm's event @ Equinox Tsunami Relief Charity event in London, RWD Magazine party @ Click, Respect Festival @ Victoria Park, Kiss Fm's event @ Equinox, Galaxy Radio's Party in The Park, the 2004/2005 Notting Hill Carnival and regularly perform around the UK.
