Luciana is one of Rockford’s best-undiscovered local talents. Known for her sensual seductive vocals as well as her smooth flowing lyrics,She has captivated audiences wherever she goes. Luciana has performed in a variety of places around Illinois that include; Rockford, Chicago, Palatine, and Joliet, it also includes Indiana, Michigan, and California. She has made appearances on cable TV, Been featured in a local T.V. commercial for the city's college basketball team called the "Rockford Lighting" Luciana has also been featured in newspaper articles, and interviewed by the media concerning her talent. Luciana has performed for The Booker T. Washington Fair (Booker Fest), The National Black Women League (The Black Family Reunion), For two years Luciana has participated in the Juneteenth celebration, and The United Way foundation in Rockford.Has Performed in Rockfords On The Water Front Festivals for the past two years (2004 &2005) In April of 2003 she was recognized for her singing and songwriting abilities when she received Rockford’s RAMI (Rockford Annual Music Industry) Award for composer of the year that also earned her a nomination for album of the year. The Chicago native has been involved in theatrical productions since high school. The majority of her co-staring roles as an actor of a comedic nature helped expand her creative stage offerings. Luciana has two years of vocal training under her belt, along with a year of training in drama. Performing has always been one of her passions; she’s been writing since the age 15. Music was her guide that sheltered her from life's situations. Chicago became too over whelming for Luciana so she moved to Rockford where she was more able to focus on a musical career. Luciana made her mark as a backup singer for a well-known Rockford band called, Bea Brady rock-n-soul revue (now known as Bellinia). They performed at local nightclubs, private parties, weddings and casinos. Inspired by the response of the audience she decided to step out of the shadows and become a solo artist. Luciana continues to astound and captivate her audiences, Luciana who is now performing with Local Jazz saxophonist "Harlen Jefferson"... hopes that the future will open the doors of success in her long journey ahead....

I started out as a shower singer, Which lead up to doing live peformances as a backup singer, and now a solo artist with actual fans now. I just recently signed with a manager and getting more gigs. I also had a Radio jingle that was played on the radio. |
