A pawn shop in South San Antonio served as the nexus for bringing together the musical talents comprising Mr. Goody Two-Shoes. Dave Cruz (lead vocals/guitar) found his way to the pawn shop through the necessity of employment. Gil Garcia (vocals/guitar) came by way of association; he and Dave previously played together but were ready for a change. Independently, Mike Rulmyr (vocals/bass) and Joe Gomez (drums) wandered into the shop looking for a deal on some gear, but found themselves persuaded into forming a band.

While the formation of Mr. Goody Two-Shoes occurred less than two months before participating in the Battle of the Bands, each member comes to the group with years of musical training and performing experience. Additionally, the exceptional versatility of each member of the band allows each member to trade instruments during performances.

One can always expect a high energy and enthusiastic performance from Mr. Goody Two-Shoes. In 2004 they will play predominately in the Central Texas area and may extend their travels to neighboring states. With a relatively recent beginning.
