The Babylon Cowboys first appeared in 2003 as an acoustic act, playing venues around Oxford, England.

Since then they have begun laying down tracks for their forthcoming album 'Constellations Of Sound' which takes their songs to a different level. Their sound is an evolving combination of haunting acoustic soul, folk influenced pop flavoured with hints of ska, dub, punk and the blues. Some influences of The Babylon Cowboys are Jimi Hendrix, Aretha Franklin, The Clash, Crass and Bob Marley.
