Coriopsis (NewAge)

Artist Comments
This piece was done as an improvisation and its a sketch of the yellow flower called the Coriopsis, a beautiful yellow flower akin to Elanor. Elanor is a sacred flower from the Lord of the Rings lore.

I am Suzanne Dwillies and I am a composer of New Age and Modern Music. My music has flavours of Celtic Music, Japanese, Modern Jazz and New Age. I compose my music via computer. In past I have engineered my pieces via Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 sound card. Now I use a Mac and continue with Garage Band. I compose and perform on the Yamaha P-120 electric keyboard.
I have performed both my pieces and other artist's pieces at private functions. I have composed for about 3 years now and hope to one day compose for film. People have said my music sounds like that of Michael Nyman. I had a recent opportunity to compose music for an International Lord of the Rings conference in Summer of 2005, at a symposium about mortality and immortality. I also help manage and sing in a large symphonic choir.
