Instrumental "SMOOTH JAZZ" with a latin feel featuring guitar. I've actually taken a Soca and modified it to create this feel.

The music is: "SMOOTH JAZZ!"
It's not like hard core jazz but much less complex and it uses various pop rhythms anywhere from latin to hip hop to soul to fusion. This style has been very popular in the US in the last 15-20 years. Recently it changed to using more pop rhythms such as hip hop jazz, fusion, latin/ funk/fusion just to mention a few. I love to take certain rhythms and encorporate them into my music.
If you're looking for traditional jazz then you might not appreciate this type of jazz. After all it took me a few listens to begin to enjoy it after it was first introduced in the 80's.
My main instruments are guitar, bass and keyboards. Although I've been playing for years, I had given it up due to health reasons in the 90's.
My style is somewhat unique, as I’ve created my own through out the years listening to a variety of music. It is from the old schooling of using melodies mixed in with pop format.
My music is not complex nor is it technical but people tell me that it has a lot of soul. This is true especially with my guitar music. Most of it has South American influences although I have no relations there as I was born in Finland. It must be from the beginning of my guitar studies that
this fusion has stuck to me. The very first thing I ever learned to play was a bossa nova on the guitar.
