Lachrymal formed in the end of 2004 when brothers Wes (Drums) and Bob (Bass) met Sam (Guitars) through an ad placed on the internet and arranged a Jam. "There was a really good feeling there, usually you get at least one dominant member in a band trying to tell everyone what to play.... but as soon as we had set-up the creativity just flowed from all of us!!!" - says Wes. Taking a range of influences from: Metal, Nu-Metal, Goth, Thrash to Grunge, Funk, Punk & Jazz etc Lachrymal's sound is their own. "I don't think we fit in any pigeon hole at all, If you could imagine Zakk Wylde, Pat Boon and Bootsy Colins going on a pub crawl.... Lachrymal would be the end result!" - Wes. "We all bring different things to the table so there is always a chance that we’re going to throw something into a song that isn’t expected" adds Bob. The Future: Lachrymal are eager to gig, record an E.P and shake up the underground scene. Sadly, this wont happen until they find the right vocalist "We've had a few vocalists but it just didnt work out so we're still looking. The second that we find the right one we will be out gigging as much as we can so keep an eye out, we're dying to get out there!" - says Sam.
